Their concert will focus on great names like Harry James, Glenn Miller, Leonard Bernstein, and many more. The next concert will be on July 12th at 6 pm and would be Max Zorin. That night’s performance will be with pianist Chris Guzman and they collectively will be outstanding. On July 19th, enjoy The Hillbenders, a bluegrass quartet from Missouri. Their interesting sound is created by mixing all of their instruments in a different way that produces an upbeat tune that everyone loves to move to. July 20th is a special day for the Wildflower Music Festival, this day the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary will host a free concert, the Steppingstones Young Artists Concert. Enjoy this great concert that honors the memory of former artistic director Jane Zwillinger Ables. To end the month of July, the Pre-War Ponies will be playing on July 26th. Their style is exactly like their name, pre-war. They play great tunes from the 30’s and 40’s, both well-known and obscure. August starts us off with Maureen McGovern on August 9th. She will be singing some of her hits from the past decades that have gotten her two Grammy nominations in her lifetime. The last concert will be on August 16th with Back Home Again, a John Denver tribute band. Sit back and relax and listen to the voice of Tom Becker as he takes you back with John Denver’s biggest hits.
