The name of our restaurant, Glass Wine Bar, comes from the history of our building and area. The O’Conner Glass factory made some amazing glass pieces when it was running in the 1890’s. When we took over the property we wanted to keep as much of the history and beauty of the surrounding area as we could. You can see from the design that we wanted to give our guests the very best views of the Pocono Mountains and our local gorge. Guests who come to Glass Wine Bar can enjoy cocktails or their dinner inside or out and get amazing views of the gorge. Trust us, a sunset on our decks is an amazing sight.
Let’s move on to what you can expect for food and drinks when you choose to have a meal at Glass Wine Bar. When it comes to drinks, we at Glass Wine Bar showing off our “All-American Wine and Beer List” to our guests and encourage them to choose local options. We have many wineries and breweries in the area and it’s always fun to try a beer or wine you have never had before. We also have many American made spirits for those of you who love a great cocktail. For the food that is at Glass Wine Bar, we like to serve plates to our guest that are perfect for sharing. Not only does it allow you to have many different items, it also allows for more talking with your partner or friends. You get to have a bite, a chat, and a drink and it allows for a fun and relaxing evening. Our menu does change out pretty regularly to help keep not only our menus interesting but to allow for us to use the best ingredients possible. Our menu is broken down into different sections, Snacks, Bites, Sides, Small Plates, and Piece Meal. One other option we are known for is having a fantastic Charcuterie plate as well as a great cheese selection too.
While you are at Glass Wine Bar, you should know that there are some nights we have some live entertainment. We have local singers as well as on special nights, like Halloween, we have great parties.
