Tour the Town at the Milford Music Festival
The Milford Music Festival is town-wide event that stretches through the tree-lined streets of Milford, PA. This festival is the closest to Ledges Hotel, just 20 minutes away. While the festival was originally a jazz festival, attendees are just as likely to find blues, rock, and pop playing in recent years. Since the festival’s venue is the town of Milford, attendance is free! Local restaurants, artisans, and shops set up booths in downtown Milford or host their own events. The 2017 festival takes place June 22nd- June 24th and is always a fantastic time.
Gather at Bethel Woods!
Bethel Woods might technically be in New York, but A Gathering at Bethel Wood is still very close to Ledges Hotel. It’s less than an hour’s drive away! The annual festival celebrates peace, love, and music. It’s a one-day celebration which takes place on July 1, starting at 3:00 p.m.
Anyone unfamiliar with the area might not know that Bethel Woods is on the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. Today, A Gathering at Bethel Woods is a fantastic event for families or anyone interested in the history of the original Woodstock festival. There will be live music, guided tours of the Woodstock museum, and interpretive walks and talks about the historic festival site. For the kids, there will be activities and games and collaborative art projects. Finally, the event is capped off by a stunning fireworks display at dusk. Tickets are only $10! Come hungry, because there will be a variety of local vendors offering food and drink. You’ll also find booths with handmade jewelry, gifts, crafts, and more!
Take a Bite out of the Peach Music Festival!
The Peach Music Festival, located just under an hour’s drive away from Ledges Hotel, is a four-day musical extravaganza, July 19th- 22nd The concert venue is stunning. It is situated in a valley and gives the concert-goers an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. One of the unique features of this venue is the adjoining water park. Every pass to the festival gives attendees access to the park. You’ll be able to listen to the headliners while relaxing in the park’s lazy river or zipping above the concert grounds. This is a one-of-a-kind festival in a beautiful area, so check out the performers and purchase your pass now!
