The newest brewery in town is located just steps from Ledges Hotel on the ground level of the Hawley Silk Mill. Hopping Eagle Brewing Company is a family affair that sprang from one owner’s passion for home brewing. The nano-brewery is a one barrel operation with eight fermenters, which means eight types of beer can be on tap at one time. Visitors may sample seasonal specials as well as staples such as Indian Pale Ale, a Double IPA, a Stout and a Blonde Ale. The industrial atmosphere of the former silk mill building is accented by rustic furnishings, antiques and collectibles.The offerings also include options for non-beer drinkers and munchies such as popcorn. Hopping Eagle Brewing Company is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Wallenpaupack Brewing Company
The Wallenpaupack Brewing Company opened in the summer of 2017 and has already made a great impression in town. The Hawley-based brewery features around one-dozen beers at any given time.
