For experienced canoers, they offer seven different trips, ranging from 6 to 17 miles long. These routes are typically longer and feature more active sections of water. Novice canoers can select from four easier routes with flatter sections of water. These trips range from 6 to 12 miles. Kittatinny Canoes also offers two-day canoe trips.
Edge of the Woods Pedal and Paddles Tour
If you’re looking for a family-friendly canoeing adventure, Edge of the Woods Outfitters is the company for you! They offer river trips on canoes and rafts, single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and inflatable kayaks. Choose from their four available routes, which range from 4-mile trips to all-day adventures! Unlike Kittatinny Canoes, these trips are self-guided, giving you the freedom to go as fast or as slow as you’d like.
Edge of the Woods Pedal and Paddles Tour also offers Delaware River overnight canoe trips. Choose from the one-night, two-day trip or the two-night, three-day trip. The price includes transportation to and from the river, canoe, paddles, and life jackets, plus a river map, and the help of staff before you set off on your adventure.
