Spring Waterfall Tour Lodging Package
The Spring Months of are our favorite times to visit the nearby water falls in Pike County. The snowmelt and spring rains create full streams and lush waterfalls. You will enjoy this combination driving and hiking tour. Bring your hiking shoes!
Day One:
Get checked in to the hotel. Refresh and then head out to any of our decks at Ledges Hotel, where you will enjoy drinks beside our beautiful waterfall.
Day Two:
Wake up for a hearty leisurely breakfast at our sister property The Settlers Inn. Don your hiking shoes and bring your back pack to the Cocoon Coffee House where you find all the fixings to pack your lunch. Then start your driving tour to Childs Park. Hike the trails and view the series of waterfalls there. After your hike, find a picnic table and enjoy lunch. Then travel (by car) downstream to Dingman’s Falls where you can hike in to see the dramatic falls. Take time to see the visitor center there. Then a short drive to Raymondskill Falls where you will see yet a different landscape. Drive on to the quaint town of Milford and take a break at the Patisserie. Continue on the driving loop to Shohola Falls on Route 6 for one more short hike. After a full day it is back to the hotel for a great dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Day Three:
After breakfast at our sister property The Settlers Inn; stroll the grounds at the inn, visit the Potting Shed, take a few pictures in the garden or down by the river. After check out, travel a short distance and put those walking shoes back on and hike the Wallenpaupack Lakeside Trail before traveling home.
Don’t forget to bring your camera! The scenery is striking from early spring to June when the beautiful Mountain Laurel fills the forests with blooms.
